:heart::heart::heart:Hiya, gang!:heart::heart::heart:

This time of the year starts the highest level of insanity for me as far as work goes.  That also means that my personal life gets shaped by this madness as well.  The Bosses get busy with their end of the year meetings and celebrations while also working hard to close out as many projects as they can.  Employees are often needing rides to and from places, either to help get their own cars maintained or cleaned up or even a few other errands to help them stay on task.  Then I also have my own tasks to keep me busy: trips to the warehouse, errands to and from clients, helping with the maintenance with the equipment or company cars, and other assorted tasks that come up.

The good news is that around the Thanksgiving week the madness is light as if preparing to really dish it out in December.  And usually if it's quiet during the last couple of weeks of November, it's going to be intense for the December month.

So, during the Thanksgiving weekend, I try to get a lot done.  On top of being thankful for all I have ... good family and friends, a good place to live and work, and people who care for me, but I also try spread the good cheer around as best as I can.  I also get a lot of gaming done when I can, whether it be tabletop gaming or online RPing which is often done on Tapestries these days.

Speaking of the tabletop group, we have had our fellowship cut down to the original foursome: the Bearded Lantern, the Bionic Forearm, the Security Officer (when he's able to show up), and myself.  The good news is when we are this tight with members, we get a lot done.  The bad news is that it would be more fun with more members, but the other players have been busy with other things of late which had kept them away from the group.

I've managed to secure quite the list of stuff for a wide range of adventures for us to go through.  On top of the list being Ravenloft 3.5 and Return to the Temple of the Elemental Evil, we also got a bunch of modules from Pathfinder and we also got Silver Age Sentinels d20.  The last game mentioned we have done before, but it was the original Tri-Stat version from a few years back.  It's been really fun, but honestly, I prefer the easier and more familiar system done by :iconjeffdee: and his game outfit known as Monkey House Games.  Villains and Vigilantes has been one of the strongest game systems in my life since I started, barely second to Dungeons and Dragons.  Still, I'm looking forward to converting characters and trying out new ideas within this new version of the original game of Silver Age Sentinels!

Currently with the tabletop game, we are trying to build up characters high enough to deal with the module The Hanging Coffins of the Vampire Queen.  This appears to be perhaps the roughest of modules out there since The Tomb of Horrors in my opinion.  While this module can be used with any fantasy RP game system which makes it perfect for us.  :)

Well, it looks like I'm needed ... so this is the close of this journal entry.  Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving weekend and if you don't celebrate this holiday, at least have a good weekend!

Love and Kisses,
Loonia
