Super Saturday Gaming ... Sort Of!

This past weekend's game was a good deal unfocused, but it was ok with the guys.  Personally, I was hyper from a Monster Energy Drink that I snarfed right before I picked up the Left Fielder and got to the Bearded Lantern's garage.  Also, my mood was extraordinarily charged from already two days of great RPing on F-List, making me think of the days of the late 1990s with like Tapestries, NeoTokyo, and Furry Mucks.  So, I came with the idea of just keeping the current storyline, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Night of the Ripper!, going.

The gang seemed to be a bit better, at least in spirits.  The Bearded Lantern was sounding so much better, having gotten over much of the bronchitis that he's been dealing with for the past couple of weeks.  The Bionic Forearm had gotten some time off from his work, a rather dangerous job in my opinion ... as is the Security Officer, who's started with a new security firm.  And the Left Fielder who's been dealing with the nightmare known as retail sales, something I would only return to if I absolutely had to.

Getting into the game was a bit more easier going ... I spoke about learning more about Pop's naval career, thanks to my Big Sister being less stoned and more able to confirm what I had pieced together.  The Bearded Lantern has been enjoying retirement, getting around to his family more and keeping his wife nice and happy by knocking out projects he and she have been talking about.  The Security Officer just grunted about things being better, his mood was certainly better than two weekends ago before we broke for an extra weekend.  And the Left Fielder is working hard at his job too, making ends meet.

As for me ... it's more of the warehouse work, but also juggling work with the Firm and the occasional dealing with the new company the Big Boss is working out, plus the vending machine job too, which is growing into more and more of a job than it originally started to be.  

Nevertheless, we still gather and keep on gaming at the table, having a lot of fun.  Isn't that what it's about?
