The Verdeschi Clan! by Kurama-chan!

First off, I want to apologize to my good friend, , who really burned the midnight oil to get this wonderful piece of work done for me.  I asked her to do this for me because I felt bad for missing out on Mom's and Pop's Day this year.  So, thanks for the hard work, honey.  

Now, this is Israfel Vincent's family.  Most of you know of her mother, a former superheroine in her own right.  Hypatia Vincent gave up the game years ago when the adventure and thrills seemed to cost her husband, Vincent Verdeschi, his life.  Verdeschi was a highly decorated Lieutenant Commander in the Navy, a skilled pilot who taught a young Israfel the love for flying, and a super hero of his own making.  No surprise, that is how the pair met.  That also means that Israfel's got some really big shoes to fill if she wants to be a super heroine ... and that's why Caitlynn Wildfire comes in.

Now, my parents were not super heroes, but I will tell you that both were heroes to me.  Pop, like Verdeschi, was a highly decorated Naval pilot who flew many missions and was also chief of the boat as well as first officer on several subs and a few ships, I think one was a destroyer.  Mom was a classic and proper Southern belle who's family lineage is tremendous.  Three civil war generals, Lee, Jackson, and Stover were a good solid foundation to the family tree as well as her own parents who were teachers ... Major was a vice principal and principal of the high school that both Mom, my Big Sister, and I attended, three generations ... wow!  When I was growing up, Pop retired from the Navy and ran a real estate firm out of the house on East Beach, managing and keeping up thirteen properties while Mom wrote her twenty plus books from 1976 to 1994.  They also raised my Big Sister and I, making us the luckiest pair of kids on the island.  The main house we had was a five bedroom, two and a half baths, with a game room, pool room, both dining and breakfast rooms and a pretty nice swimming pool that was in the ground, not on top.

But most of all, they adopted me, making me a twice special kid ... I will always be grateful for what they did for me.
